Description: This is a collection of 11 small plates from Nippon...there are 5 saucers (4.5") and 6 Bread & Butter Plates (4.75). The are pattern number NIP 9 and each is hand-painted with the silhouette of a little girl with a flower pot plus a dainty little flower, whose blooms are painted pink. The 6 Bread & Butter Plates are signed with the blue Rising Sun backmark that has been used since 1911; the others are not signed. You will find a photo of the Bread & Butter plate on the Replacements website, but they do not have one piece of this pattern so I am going to call these plates Rare. These vintage saucers are pre-owned, but are in very good condition with no chips, cracks, or crazing.
