Description: This sale is a City Plan of Kagoshima, Japan. This is a first edition, developed by the US Army Map Service in 1945 as part of the war effort as part of AMS L902. The map was printed in July 1945 after the city was fire bombed. A number of military installations are shown. Also included is the catalog card for the map, which gives detail on the map. The map is about 24" x 30" and the scale is about 1:12,500. It shows detail and has vivid colors. This map is suitable for framing and guaranteed original.
