This item is an exact reproduction of the 9 1/2" GM backing plate with no splash shield common to BOP. This backing plate was used on countless cars in the 60's and 70's. It was used on both the 10 and 12 bolt rear ends and was considered the 9 1/2" GM backing plate. The plate was used on all the mid size A, F & X-Body cars.
