1967 FIRST EVER ABA BASKETBALL PROGRAM PRE-INAUGURAL

Description: This is a unique opportunity to own a very rare piece of basketball history. This program is from the first ever ABA basketball season in 1967, featuring the Indiana Pacers. It does not mention another team specifically besides the Pacers and the league schedule, so I am not sure if this was a pre season/ pre first game promo about the league or if it was the first Pacer game program. The program is in vintage condition and is un-scored. The cover has separated from the program, the seam is split on cover about 3/4 of the way down and there is a tear in he cover that is about 2” that goes through the Indiana Pacers name on front. I tried to show close up pictures of all issues. The book itself is in very good condition and the score sheet in the middle has no writing. The program features original content from the Pacers' first season in the ABA and is officially licensed. It features photos of pre-inaugural events and has an article about the founding of the league and the upcoming season.
