Description: Beautiful and rare to find, contemporary looking Louisville Pottery. I purchased these about 3 years ago in an estate sale. The gentleman I bought them from recalled growing up with them being part of a bigger set and seeing them in his mother's China Cabinet since the 1950s. He identified them as being made by Louisville Pottery in Kentucky. These bowls are all handmade, and hand painted. The footed base is brown and the interior of the bowl is green. They have a high gloss finish. They do not appear to have been used. I thought they might be egg cup holders but they're a little large for that. They may have been used for Sherbert or other such desserts of that time period. They measure 3" h x 3" w across the mouth and 2" round at the bottom. They are all slightly different sizes because they are handmade.
