Description: YESAYAN KHATCHATUR HAKOBI also ESSAIAN XACATUR (1909 Aghjghala (nowadays Turkey) - 1977 Yerevan), Armenian Soviet artist,theatric painter.Graduated the Leninakan Art Studio in 1926, the Industrial College in 1928, and the Moscow Energetic Institute in 1938. He begun participating in exhibitions since 1938. His One-Man shows were in held in Yerevan, 1946, 1948, 1959, 1962, 1970 and in Moscow and Baku in 1960. He had designed "Sos and Varditer", "Edip Arka", "Liuchia De Lamermiure" and "Artzvaberd" operas and "Sona" ballet for the Yerevan Opera and Ballet Theatre, and the "Terteri Ukhte" film.
