The more used and seasoned cast iron or stoneware gets the better it is to cook with. There is signs of wear as expected with use. Do not put in dishwasher, hand wash only. **Suggestion: after giving pan a quick wash when you receive it, towel dry and coat with oil ( olive oil or vegetable oil, ) and bake in oven for 10-15 mins at 425 degrees, then take out and let it Cool off, and then put away ) this seasons your pan nicely and it’s ready to cook with. I do this with all my cast irons, I lightly oil it after cleaning it and put it away and it’s ready for next use. Please look at all pictures as they are part of the description.
