Description: For your consideration is a 1920's era Vincent Bach cornet mouthpiece. This early to mid 1920's era 10 1/2 C mouthpiece arrives to us in functional condition, but possesses areas of wear to the plating, dings to the lip, scratches throughout, and general condition issues due to aging. We are able to date this to the 1920's based on Bach Loyalist's mouthpiece chart for looking at specific lettering differences. While researching we observed the sans-serif font for the engraving, the specific use of the "VINCENT BACH CORP. NEW YORK" , and the lack of the "Mt Vernon" on the mouthpiece. These paired with the aging of the mouthpiece lead us to narrow it down to 1920's. The mouthpiece will be sanitized and bagged prior to shipping and will be packed carefully to ensure safe travel to prospective buyer. This mouthpiece could be refinished and used a functional mouthpiece or could be purchased as a collectible from the early corporation days of the Vincent Bach company. Thanks for your consideration!
