Description: ECB 3D Printing designed a Mini Fridge Insert that slides into the empty box where the Winnebago has a fridge door. Often this door is broken and missing so we designed a detailed box with a drawer and shelves and a freezer box at the top. The kit comes with the fridge box, door, 3 shelves, 1 drawer and 2 brass hinges. The hinges are not glued so that you can paint your fridge if you want. We did trim the excess plastic around the Winnebago box to make a flush fit (the plastic hinge and top were easy to score with a razor knife and then cut). ** We want to say that although we have designed the action of the door to be simple we did find a couple of issues gluing the hinges that we will pass onto you so you might avoid the same troubles. The hinges come pinned and the action is tight. We recommend that you work the hinges some to loosen them up before gluing. When gluing the hinge into the fridge box slots, add a small amount of glue to the leading edge of the hinge to avoid glue getting into where the hinge rod is and preventing the hinge from working. Insert the hinge so that less than half of the hinge rod is in the recess, or majority of the hinge rod is still sticking above the fridge box. If you insert it too deep it will be hard to glue the door to the hinges. The hinges are simple brass and will bend and break if forced to hard, so use some caution. We have been using super glue on our hinges when inserting the hinge into the fridge box and using Shoe Goo on the door side of the fridge works well. This mini fridge can also be used for dioramas, other vehicles or wherever your creativity leads to. All parts come in black and you can easily paint them to match your RV.
