It can be cut with regular scissors and the sliders can be easily attached by feeding the chain one side at a time, into the front of the zipper at a 45° angle lining up the ends. We have a wider tape on our zippers (1 ½”). It is wider than you will usually find. This allows you to use a ½” seam instead of a 3/8” seam which adds to the durability of your project. Zipper sizes we offer are: · # 5 This is a medium weight zipper that can be used in seat cushions, backpacks etc. anywhere a strong durable zipper is needed. · # 8 This is a heavy weight zipper which can be used in all the same applications however the “Slider” is larger than the # 5. · # 10 This is a “HUGE” zipper. This zipper is used when you want to make a STRONG statement about your project or you are looking for a zipper that will work forever……This zipper will by far outlast any material you sew it to.
