Description: A very nice, very lightly run, K-Line 2221 Pennsylvania PRR Deluxe Dual Motor Powered MP-15 with Horn for O/027 gauge made in ~2000. Works great with all other 3-Rail O/027 gauge trains from Lionel, MTH, Williams, Weaver, etc... This "Deluxe Version" of the K-line MP-15 features conventional transformer (Fwd-Neutral-Rev) electronic reversing with lock-out switch, dual "maintenance free" can motors, 8 wheel drive, 4 traction tires, selectable Series or Parallel motor power, electronic diesel horn, operating magnetic couplers, metal frame / railings / truck side-frames and Illuminated front/ rear headlights (no cab light as that is where the horn speaker is) Comes with original black plastic K-Line ornamental Horn and Bell. **Note a transformer whistle/horn control (or separate control) is required to activate the diesel horn sound*** The combination of the dual motors, 8 wheel drive, 4 traction tires and an engine weight of 2 1/4 lbs gives this engine very good pulling power. The selectable motor power options are either parallel which is how most dual motor engines are wired or Series which provides for more realistic and slower operation.I replaced all 4 traction tire (original tires stretched), lubed the rollers and then briefly tested all functions on my layout and the motors, reversing unit, horn and headlights all worked fine.This engine does not come with an individual box but I will wrap & pack with care prior to shipment and I'll provide a copy of the K-Line engine instruction sheet.I will ship the day after I receive payment and I will discount shipping charges for shipments I can combine the same day.
