LARRY JENNINGS -- CLASSIC MAGIC, THE LARRY JENNINGS VIDEO -- published by L&L in 2002 -- this is a re-issue of footage from the 1990's, originally published by A-1 MAGICMEDIAEarly in my magical education (circa 1980), one of my favorite close-up books was the Larry Jennings book that Jeff Busby published, Card and Coin Magic of Larry Jennings. It showcased the practical and effective approach that Jennings' always applied to his routines. Later, Mike Maxwell published a much more comprehensive collection of Jennings' great stuff. And around the same time, Maxwell's A-1 Multimedia company put out a video tape of Jennings performing and explaining some of his best card work.Fast forward 10-15 years, and L&L gets the rights to the Jennings video footage, and re-issues it as a DVD, complete with convenient DVD menus. Although some intermediate level sleights are involved, there is nothing too difficult to master with a bit of practice. Even his Invisible Palm (Open Travellers) is no overly difficult because Jennings has figured out all the details and nuances of this routine (and all the others, too), and covers these fine points in the explanations.Retail on this DVD is $30. But I see it for $23 on one site, so I will price it for a bit less than that. What a guy! :-) CONDITION: previously owned, open but DVD and case/label are in excellent (like new) condition.
