Description: Excellent Gift for the Vinyl Collector!!!! Have confidence, I'm selling my own personal vinyl collection. Most of my LP's remain unplayed and some are 1st pressings. I used to collect vinyl as I worked in a record shop and have hundreds of rare records. Please read the vinyl and sleeve grading below, you would be surprised how many do not! Here we have my own original 1st pressing copy of The Beach Boys - 20 Golden Greats. It is a 12" vinyl LP, 33⅓ rpm with a solid centre. Published 1976 on the Capitol Record Label, Cat No EMTV 1. On the runout of side 1 is EMTV 1 A-1 NICK IV, side 2 is EMTV 1 B-1 JOHN-1 which makes this a first pressing! If you think this LP is not a first pressing, then please either do not buy or buy in the knowledge that you think it is not! All the information is above for you to check before purchasing! The vinyl has minor light surface blemishes on both sides - plays without issue - I have graded the vinyl as Very Good+. The inner sleeve is original and has yellowed with age, I have graded it as Very Good+. The original Picture Sleeve has some shelf edge wear, a small tear on the opening edge on the rear and discolouration - see pics. It is graded as Very Good. MINT - Possibly unplayed - excellent condition through out! NEAR MINT (NM): This record has the lightest of light surface scratches on the vinyl. It should play without any problem. EXCELLENT (EX): Minor scuffs which are visible. There may be more than a few scuffs.It should play without any problem! VERY GOOD (VG): Record shows wear and / or surface scuffs. The vinyl still has great luster,but the flaws will be noticeable to the naked eye. The flaws may cause minor surface noise. GOOD (G) Record has visible scratches / scuffs but plays without jumping / skipping. FAIR (F) Record may jump or skip but worth having in the collection. Cover & Sleeve Grade - Please Read. MINT (M): No stickers, address labels, writing on the covers or labels. No tears or seam splits.No wear to the cover. NEAR MINT (NM): The cover looks as close to perfect with only minor signs of wear and/or age. EXCELLENT (EX): Artwork is still fair. Some impression to the cover (minor outer ring wear), but no ink wear! Some creases to the corners, but not wrinkled and obtrusive to the eye. VERY GOOD (VG): The artwork looks ok with slightly more aging. The back of the cover usually gives away the age of the cover. Flat white paper will be somewhat yellow, yet no stains or mildew from water damage. Some wear to the seams or spine, but no tears or holes popping through. GOOD (G) Covers may have edge damage, may have creases in more than one place and yellowing. FAIR (F) Covers have tears, edge and opening damage, ink marks / writing. GOOD A few creases and minor tears.
