CONDITION: I believe (MY PERSONAL OPINION) that this book is in "Very Good" to "Like New" condition (particularly considering its age), as far as eBay defines standards on condition. There is a small stamp on one of the preceding white pages that dictates that it was purchased from a surplus of book material, minor but present. That said, if you are interested in purchasing this novel, I ask you to confirm the condition for yourself, as it is really up to you how you classify it, since purchasing used books is subjective with your opinions on condition being your own. PACKAGING: I sometimes get questions about why I charge a bit more money for shipping, and the answer really shows up at your door. PRICING: Original MSRP for this item was suggested at $26.95, regardless of printing, edition, condition, rarity, collect-ability, etc. I am pricing this book based on the fact that it is a 1st Edition & 1st Printing, because it is in great shape overall particularly considering it was released 23 years ago now (Published in 1998), because it is a part of a larger saga of books by Anne Rice (The Vampire Chronicles) making it collectible to those interested in the larger saga, & lastly because people are hanging onto their early edition/printed books these days, making these early printings all the more challenging to find in any kind of good condition, let alone the condition this one is in. This book would be a really nice piece to have in any 1st edition/printing Horror/Fantasy collection. It would also be a real gem to a Anne Rice collector without this one already in their library.
