Description: Vintage WW2 era U.S Navy cantilever toolbox USN mechanic . The box is in fair original condition with wear and damage as shown. The box retains its original paint but it does have some loss and over spray paint on it. The leather is gone on the handle and the wood is wrapped in electrical tape and the wood appears to be in poor condition. The hinges have slight bends that do not affect the function of them. Where the two doors come together to close there are broken spots welds on one side and over all wear to both sides where they meet as pointed out. Due to the broken spot weld you have to play with the doors to get them to line up to close the box evenly. Over all a hard to find toolbox in fair condition that could use a little bit of repairs Please see the attached photos for condition details and approximate measurements.
