Description: Completely rebuilt ground up, has up-grades from later Ohlins like teflon body sleeves to keep springs from wearing away paint off body / newer style seal head assy & top / new top bearing / shock shafts are true / new bump cushins / new bottom eye rubber sleeves / new parts inside where needed. Springs and valving should be about correct for a 2.2 to 1 swing arm lever Ratio, which was what the late 70's motocross bikes were using. This shock was made in mind to have the most shock shaft travel for this length ( 5 1/2" ) so with that swing arm ratio this shock would have 11'' inches. The reservoir lines are just under 12" ( 11 3/4 " to be exact )Long spring is Ohlins part # 180-80 rated at 23Nm or around 140 Lb's at 220mm long.Short spring free length is 83mm long and tested fully compressed at 230 Lb's. When you purchase the shock I send the shock valve code along with the shock. You will need the tell me what the top shock mounting width is so I can machine the top aluminum spacers, the bottom eye is 19mm x 8mm id. Just a added information this style of Ohlins was what Roger De Coster was running on his works Suzuki during those late 70's.
