Description: WW1 Cavalry Hooded Stirrup - RIA 1909 Condition: Great, with no major damage, but the stirrup features wear from age and use. This includes crackling of the leather and some surface scratching, a pinhead sized hole on the top front and a small area of splitting on the left edge seam. The wooden stirrups have some minor splitting at the curved edges (see pictures). The stirrup is marked U.S. on the front bottom and Rock Island Arsenal 1909. There are also inspector initials (T.C.C.). These stirrups are difficult to find, especially in this condition, so don't miss out on this one!
